Scroggs Peak is a 35.5-foot climbing tower located on the ground level and erected through the Jungle Gym of the Student Recreation Complex. Scroggs Peak is a unique climbing feature, due to its custom-designed rock face formed to simulate the surrounding area's rock formations. This quality makes it as challenging as any outdoor climbing surfaces within the Columbia area. Scroggs Peak Climbing pass - $34/year (must attend and pass belay certification class prior to purchasing pass). 4 standard ropes and a lead climb course. Bouldering wall available as well. University of Missouri affiliates only, others can come on a family night on Fridays with a MU student/faculty.
45 degree wall, a pillar, several slabs, dihedrals, and many overhanging aretes. Bouldering with around 2000 sq ft of soft landing crash pads and problems ranging from V0- to V10+ plus a traverse that travels completely around the gym.
